These “Terms and Conditions” apply to the Site, HATCH QUARTER Pty Ltd and all of its divisions, and partners operated Internet sites, which reference these Terms and Conditions.
By visiting the Site, you approve that you, will respect, comply and be bound all the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to do so, you should not use this website and exist immediately. The site reserves the right, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions of use at any time. Without any prior notice, changes will be effective once they are posted on the site. Please check these Terms and Conditions of use regularly for updates. This website does not form or is a part of any kind of a sale contract. The Hatch Quarter Startup Prize 2017 Terms & Conditions of Entry
The Hatch Quarter Startup Prize will herein be referred to as ‘HQSP’ and ‘startup prize’.
HQSP is owned by Hatch Quarter Pty Ltd, who is the ‘Promoter’ and will be referred to as ‘HQ’.
HQ has the right to make changes to these rules at its own discretion and at any time.
Applicants must meet all terms and conditions of entry to be eligible.
The HQSP is open to early-stage startups. An ‘early-stage startup’ is a business that is less than two years into development or hasn’t already launched its products and services.
The prize is not open to teams with more than 3 members.
HQ reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all applications it receives. Special consideration will be given to startups that HQ considers scalable.
Applications must be submitted by 11.59pm on July 1st, 2017. Applications submitted afterwards will not be considered.
Entry to the prize is free.
Applicants agree to grant a limited license to HQ to use their image, name and logo for marketing purposes, press releases and other publications that concern the HQSP.
Applicants agree to let HQ review the application when it’s received. HQ does not consent to keep the details of any applications private.
HQ does not guarantee that the prize recipients will achieve anything new or favourable for their business upon completion of the Hatch program, or as a result of winning.
HQ does not take on any legal responsibility for startups in its Hatch program, including the prize recipients.
The details and the value of the prize are listed in good faith and may change.
Applicants must be willing to make themselves available for 20-30 hours per week for a duration of at least 4 months to attend workshops, sessions and meetings as part of the Hatch Program, which will be held at Hatch Quarter 207/673 La Trobe Street, Docklands, Victoria, 3008.
Applicants acknowledge that to be successful they will need to participate in the HQSP Pitch Night. Only applicants that make the judges shortlist will be invited to participate.
Applicants agree to let HQ and representatives contact them over the duration of the prize using the contact details supplied by the applicant.
HQ may ask applicants to supply more information about their startup to prove they are eligible, or to help finalise the outcome of the application.
The decision made by the judges of HQSP is final. Correspondence that aims to challenge this decision will not be entered into.
